It doesn't reliably work
Detector scores swing on identical text. A trick that passes one tool or one day fails the next. You can't build trust on a coin flip.
Reducing AI detection
If you're here to make AI writing slip past a detector, here's the honest answer first: you can't do it reliably, and trying is riskier than the problem you're solving. Here's what actually works instead.
Detectors are noisy and inconsistent — the same text can score wildly differently across tools and even across runs. Humanizer tools chase that noise. They don't reliably beat detection, and when they do, they usually wreck your writing in the process. We've tested this; we won't pretend otherwise.
DraftProof has no humanizer or evasion mode. Helping you disguise AI work would be dishonest and wouldn't survive scrutiny anyway. We'd rather reduce the real risk than the number.
Why gaming it fails
Detector scores swing on identical text. A trick that passes one tool or one day fails the next. You can't build trust on a coin flip.
Humanizers inject odd phrasing and errors. You can trade an AI flag for writing that's visibly mangled — which draws its own scrutiny.
Disguising AI work to dodge detection is the exact thing integrity policies exist to catch. A clean score from evasion is still a violation — detected or not.
What works
The dominant detector signal isn't word choice — it's generic, unsourced assertions. Add real citations, data, and examples, and the writing reads as yours because it is.
Specific arguments, your interpretation, concrete detail from your own work — none of that is in a generic AI draft, and none of it reads as AI.
If you used AI legitimately, say so. Disclosure removes the entire risk of being caught, because there's nothing hidden.
Our role
DraftProof shows which paragraphs are weak and why — generic claims, missing sources — so you can strengthen them with real content.
Any rewrite we show is a model to learn from and replace with your own real content, not a finished submission to paste in.
If your writing would still be flagged, we tell you. A reassuring number we can't stand behind would be worse than useless.
DraftProof finds the weak, ungrounded passages that make writing look AI-generated — and shows you how to fix them with real substance.
